Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The gained 0.92% at the Copenhagen close.

AP Moeller & Maersk A/S (CSE 🙂 were the top performers in the session. They rose 4.23%, or 920 points, to close at 22660. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE 🙂 gained 3.98%, or 930 points, to close at 24310. Ambu A/S A (CSE 🙂 was also up 3.39%, or 5.2 to 156.9 late trade.

Demant A/S, CSE:) fell 1.34% (or 4.4 points), to close at 324.1. Chr Hansen Holding A/S, CSE:) fell 0.399% or 2.0 point to close at 506.4. Coloplast A/S was down 0.14% (1.5 points) to 1035.0.

The Copenhagen Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 115 percent to 48, and the 16th ended unchanged.

The February delivery of crude oil was 1.65% higher or 1.34 at $82.56 per barrel. Brent oil rose 1.6%, or 0.97, to $84.69 per barrel in March commodities trading. The February Gold Futures contract rose by 0.23%, or 4.25, to $1822.75 an troy ounce.

USD/DKK declined 0.52%, to 6.5121. EUR/DKK rose 0.3% to 7.4404.

US Dollar Index Futures were down by 0.56% to 95.085.
