Israel stocks rise at the close of trade. TA35 up 1.65%Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Nova (TASE): was the best performer of the session, rising 4.28% or 1770 to trade at 43150 by the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd, (TASE:), gained 3.86% or 20.2 to trade at 533.0. Shapir Engineering Industry TASE: (Up 3.81%, 110 Points to 2998) in Late Trade
Perrigo, TASE: (which fell 3.68% and 480 points respectively to trade at 1256 at the closing) were the worst performers. Energix (TASE.) TASE declined 2.09% or 28 point to reach 1310 OPKO Health Inc TASE: was down by 1.81%, or 26 points, to 1414.
The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 358 to 458, while 26 ended the same.
Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd. (TASE) shares rose by 3.86%, or 20.2 to 533.0. TASE: shares of Shapir Engineering Industry rose to new highs. They were up by 3.81%, 110 to 2998.
For February delivery, crude oil rose 1.98% (or 1.61) to $82.83/barrel. Brent oil, which is available for March delivery, rose by 1.22 percent to $84.94/barrel, and the February Gold Futures contract saw a 0.35% increase or 6.45 to trade as $1824.95 per troy ounce.
The USD/ILS exchange rate was up 0.6% at 3.1077 while the EUR/ILS exchange rate rose by 0.70% to 3.5542.
