Komodo announced Wednesday the addition of 12 protocols to its multichain architecture network. The protocol includes a non-custodial multicoin digital wallet, and an atomic swap-powered, decentralized exchange AtomicDEX. These 12 protocols include, Harmony and Fantom (SmartBCH),, Moonriver; KuCoin Community Chain, Huobi ECO Chains, Ubiq; Arbitrum, and Optimism. The latter two are wallet-only. The upgrade will allow users to exchange Avalanche tokens from Polygon to Binance Smart Chain, (BSC), and vice versa.

Multi-chain allows users to gain access to their crypto with no proxy tokens or wrapped tokens. This is in contrast to cross-chain functionality. Better security results. Kadan Stadelmann is chief technology officer at Komodo.
