New Zealand building consents rise in November -Breaking

WELLINGTON 13 January (Reuters) – The New Zealand Ministry of Home Affairs reported that the number of consents to build a dwelling increased by 0.6 percent over November, compared with a 2.1 % drop in the preceding month.
The consents required to construct new houses were down by 6.2 percent, excluding apartments and flats.
Construction consents rose by 20.8 per cent compared to the previous year.
