Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.96% -Breaking

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Saudi Arabia’s closing bell saw an increase of 0.96% that reached a five-year record.

Knowledge Economic City, which gained 7.76% (or 1.34 points) to close at 18.60 at closing, was the top performer. Mouwasat Medical Services Company -SE: added 5.50%, or 10.00 point to reach 191.80. Saudi Industrial Investment Group -SE: was up 4.06%, or 1.30 to 33.30 in the closing trade.

Amana Cooperative Insurance Co. (SE:) was the worst performer of the session, falling 2.51% or 0.85 point to trade at 33.05 by the end. Leejam Sports SJSC, Company (SE:), declined 2.46 or 2.80 points at 111.00. Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co(SE:) dropped 2.39% or 3.40 point to 139.00.

The Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange witnessed rising stocks outnumbering declining stocks 140 to 65, while 17 ended the same.

Oil for February delivery rose 1.13%, or 0.92, to $82.14/barrel. Brent oil rose 0.65%, or 0.54, to $84.26 per barrel in March commodities trading. The February Gold Futures contract climbed 0.08%, or 1.50, to $1820.00 an troy ounce.

EUR/SAR rose 0.30% to 4.2785 while USD/SAR dropped 0.01% at 3.7535.

At 95.350, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.2%.
