U.S. House panel seeks testimony from Republican leader McCarthy about Jan. 6 attack -Breaking

(Reuters) – The U.S. Congress investigating Jan. 6, 2017 Capitol Attack asked Kevin McCarthy, House Republican Leader on Wednesday, to answer questions regarding former President Donald Trump’s actions that day.

In a statement, the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee stated that it was seeking information about Rep. McCarthy’s involvement in violence on January 6th and events the day before.
