Smart Pools are designed to facilitate and improve licensing transactions between patent contributors, (Founders), and licensees (Members), including SMEs. IPwe’s role in this regard is to act as the sole pool administrator while negotiating licenses on behalf of its participants. Q. What Tech Areas does IPwe Concentrate on?

Q. What makes trading IP easier with NFTs?

Our IP NFTs are not really comparable to the NFTs being traded on the “classic” NFT platforms — as they are tailored to the IP use case. You can find memes, articles in games, videos and collectibles. Tokenized to transfer NFT ownership, but not the rights to commercially exploit tokenized IP assets.

NFTs contain 100% IP. Our NFTs are 100% IP. The metadata document infrastructurally is where all of the value-building data points and information are kept. All information necessary for transactions is now in one location. It is standardized against an AI engine’s uniform assessment and verified algorithmically. Verification establishes trust but transaction efficiency is protected by standard information flows. This allows us to drastically reduce discovery costs, such as due diligence, rating, valuation, etc.

As the blockchain’s operational level permits us to use smart contracts, the tokenization of IP agreements is the cherry on the cake. There is a $180 million patent market currently, where only 2 percent of all patents have been transacted. Tokenization is an innovation for society and innovators. It will increase transparency and make it easier to sell, trade, and market patents. The tokenization of intellectual property will result in a whole new class of assets.
