Investing.com – France stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The Paris closing bell saw the index lose 0.36% and the Paris fell by 0.50%.

They were the top performers at the session Renault SA (PA) rose by 4.58% to 33.88, or 1.49 point at the close. Stellantis NNV (PA) gained 3.45%, or 0.63 points, to close at 19.00. STMicroelectronics NNV (PA) was also up 3.09% (or 1.32 points) to reach 43.91 late in trade.

These were the worst performers of the session. Kering SA (PA:) dropped 3.61% or 25,70 points, to trade at 685.90 by the close. Hermes International SCA (PA:) declined 3.17% or 43.50 points to end at 1329.00 and L’Oreal SA (PA:) was down 2.81% or 11.25 points to 388.80.

Sopra Steria Group SA was the best performer on SBF 120, rising 5.67% at 163.90. Renault SA (PA;) rose 4.58% to 33.88. Faurecia (PA:), which closed at 43.86 with a gain of 4.25%

Sartorius was the worst performer Stedim Biotech SA, (PA:), was down 6.4% to 386.90 late trade Biomerieux SA (PA 🙂 fell by 4.28% and settled at 105.00. Kering SA. (PA 🙂 was lower at 3.61% at 685.90.

The Paris Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpassing declining ones by 315 to 266, while 87 ended the same.

Stellantis NV shares (PA) rose to their highest levels; they gained 3.45% or 0.63 from 19.00.

The was unchanged at 0%, to 18.96, an all-time 52 week low.

The February delivery of Gold Futures was lower by 0.39%, or 7.05 to $1820.25 per troy ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which fell 0.36 percent to reach $82.28/barrel, and March Brent oil, which fell 0.19 to trade at $84.51/barrel.

EUR/USD was up 0.17 to 1.1461, EUR/GBP rose by 0.11 to 0.8358

At 94.782, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.13%.
