As a result of a New York lawsuit alleging that Prince Andrew of Britain sexually abused a young girl, his mother Queen Elizabeth II stripped him of any military affiliations or royal patronages.

Andrew was a friend and confidant of Epstein. According to Reuters, Andrew will no longer use “His Royal Hisness” as an official title.

A news agency reported that Andrew’s official functions will be transferred to other members the royal family.

 “With The Queen’s approval and agreement, The Duke of York’s military affiliations and Royal patronages have been returned to The Queen,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement.

“The Duke and Duchess of York will not continue to perform any public duties, and is defending the case as a private citizen.”

After receiving a request from 150 veteran Air Force, Royal Navy and Army personnel for information, the announcement was made within hours. calling on the queen to strip her second son of all his titles and ranks in the armed forces.
