Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Saudi Arabia’s close saw the currency rise by 1.02% for a five-year peak.

BANK ALBILAD, which gained 5.79% (or 3.00 points) to trade at 54.80 by the close of the session was among the top performers. Riyad Bank, SE: added 5.42% (or 1.60 points) to close at 31.10. Saudi Marke (SE:) was at 30.80, up 4.76%.

The Company For Coop and The Company for Coop were the session’s worst performers. The Company for Coop was the worst performer of the session, falling 3.14% (or 2.60 points) to close at 80.10. National Co for Glass Industrie declined 2.35% (or 1.05) to finish at 43.65 Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE 🙂 fell 2.30%, or 4.60 points, to 195.40.

The Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 131 percent to 73 percent, while 18 was left unchanged.

Shares of BANK ALBILD (SE:), rose to five-year highs, rising 5.79% (3.00 to 54.80) Riyad Bank shares rose by 5.42%, or 1.60 to 31.10.

The February delivery of crude oil fell 0.13 percent to $82.51 per barrel. Brent oil, which was due for delivery March 11, rose 0.09 or 0.11% to reach $84.76/barrel, and the February Gold Futures contract declined 0.28% or 5,5 to trade at $1822.25/ton.

EUR/SAR was at 4.3068 an increase of 0.2%, and USD/SAR at 3.7532 an increase of 0.00%.

At 94.683, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.2%.
