China tightens screws on major money market funds -Breaking

SHANGHAI (Reuters – China’s Securities Regulator issued draft regulations Friday that would strengthen oversight over large money market funds in order to protect investor interest.
China Securities Regulatory Commission stated on its website that the rules would increase scrutiny of individual money market funds of large sizes or a high number of investors to insure safety and liquidity.
