(Reuters) – The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), late Friday, revised its guidelines for Americans about wearing masks. While the agency recommends wearing “the strongest protective mask” (although it did not urge widespread use of N95 nationwide),

In its updated website, the CDC stated that people could choose between N95s or KN95s. This includes removing any concerns about supply shortages of N95s. According to the CDC, Americans are advised to “wear the most comfortable protective mask possible that fits properly and is worn regularly.”
