Do you remember BattleBots? It was the revolutionary TV show that not only praised people’s creativity but also premiered one of the most entertaining real robot fights. It was in a sense the Western answer to Japanese mecha.

On the other hand, BattleBots didn’t get enough recognition in video games, at least as much as mecha. There are only two examples that come to mind: BattleBots for Game Boy Advance, and Robot Arena.

MetaGear has an identical feel to the show. You create your fighter out of parts and take part in tournaments. Visually, it’s very close to Bom Crypto, a play-to-earn reincarnation of Bomberman.

It is built on the BSC Blockchain. iOS will be released in Q2 2022; Android and browser versions are scheduled to release in Q3 2022.
