Arif Alvi currently serves as President of Pakistan. While meeting with an expert delegation in blockchain technology, he requested additional training on emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and blockchain.

Alvi announced the news on Monday. Pakistan’s talent pool should be ready to meet the needs of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which includes utilizing blockchain technology in the public and private sectors. The Pakistani president stated that blockchain technology could be used to increase transparency, track transactions, and decrease corruption. Jimmy Nguyen (founder of the Bitcoin Association), was one of the experts on the panel.
