(Reuters] – Although the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has advised Americans to wear the best protective masks, it did not endorse N95 face covers or other comparable options.

These are the facts you should consider before buying a mask.

WHAT IS N95 MASK?

They are usually made up of several layers of synthetic fiber polypropylene. These masks are made to fit tightly around your face with tight edges and straps around the neck and back.

WHEN IS N95 SUITABLE?

A surgical or cloth face mask is an option if that’s impossible. Poland stated, “If this is impossible, you could use as many layers of cloth masks as you want,” adding that, “If it’s not feasible, you’re playing Russian roulette.”
