Saudi-led coalition strike on Yemen’s Sanaa kills 14

CAIRO (Reuters – A coalition of Saudi-led forces struck Yemeni capital Sanaa, killing 14 people according to preliminary estimates. Residents also reported on Tuesday that the work was continuing in rubble, which was confirmed by Reuters.

After an attack on the United Arab Emirates by rebels, the Saudi-led coalition carried out strikes against Yemen’s Houthi-held Sanaa. On Monday, eight drones were shot towards Saudi Arabia by the coalition.

The home of a former military officials was hit by an air strike on Sanaa, killing his wife, son (25 years old), and other family members. Residents and a medical source told Reuters that the residents also died.

Yemen’s Iran aligned Houthi group reported that an initial strike by a Saudi-led coalition on Sanaa left 12 people dead, including children and women, injure 11 others and destroys five houses.

Yemeni forces, backed by United Arab Emirates, have joined the coalition to fight the Houthi movement in central Marib.
