  • Splinterlands opens the general sale of its newest — Chaos Legion card packs.
  • More than 6 million boxes were sold during the general sale.
  • Splinterlands plans to expand its unique active wallets, and increase website traffic.

Splinterlands officially opens the long-awaited general sale of its newest — Chaos Legion card packs. Yesterday’s general sale has sold more than 6 million packs. It is 40% more than the total 15 million pack created by the network. Since September 2021, the game has been the most popular blockchain game on DappRadar.

The players in the platform will be able to purchase the card packs through credits which can be bought in the online shop in exchange for Splinterlands tokens— DEC or SPS. To ensure fair distribution, the network used its voucher airdrop system.

Players who purchased during the pre-sale have the opportunity to get rare NFT cards. A voucher system was used to secure the first pre-sale. Players could exchange 1 VOUCHER and 4000 credits (a value of $4 USD) each pack. The Vouchers can either be bought in Hive Engine, or staking SPS. Jesse “Aggroed” Reich, CEO & Co-Founder of Splinterlands said,

Splinterlands is delighted by the development of the game. One night saw more revenue than 2018 2019, 2020, and 2020. We’re growing like crazy. We’re adding new players, and new money, which is allowing us to hire more creatives and developers to the business. It’s absolutely living the crypto dream.

Splinterlands plans to expand its user base and increase website traffic beyond its baseline 10 million daily sessions. This is all thanks to the network’s growing popularity and gamified distribution mechanism, which combines the NFT world with the crypto-game environment and divides NFT cards according to their rarity and value.
