Street Fighter releases digital collectibles via WAX Blockchain after celebrating the 35th anniversary

Since the early days of arcade gaming, Konami and Capcom were rivals. They each have a collection of games that were popular over the past 40 years. They are still competing in a new market: digital collectibles that use blockchain (also known as NFTs).

While Konami has released NFT memorabilia pack to celebrate Castlevania’s 35th Anniversary, Capcom commemorated the 35th anniversary of the Street Fighter series without digital collectibles… Well, not anymore.

Capcom, WAX and other companies are dropping NFT-card collection. On January 20, 2022, the set of 1,000 packs will be available for sale. In order to purchase a pack, which is priced for $100, you’ll need to have a WAX Cloud Wallet. There will only be 1000 packs, each containing 10 cards. The following is their rarity:

  • Common A, 32.30% Chance
  • Common B with 26.60% probability
  • With 17.10% probability, Uncommon
  • Rare A with 10.80% probability
  • Rare chance to get B 8.64%
  • Epic A with 2.4% chance
  • Epic B, 1.80% Chance
  • Legendary with 0.36% Chance

For those who have collected all the cards in any rare category, a bonus package will contain one of eleven super-rare cards.
