United Airlines warns 5G plan would impact 1.25 million passengers a year -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – United Airlines stated late Monday that U.S.5G’s current wireless rollout plan will negatively impact at least 1.25 Million passengers in the United States and 15,000 flights per year. It urged President Joe Biden and his administration to move.

U.S. airlines are concerned that 5G interference may compromise safety systems, resulting in the suspension of passenger and cargo flights. The airlines want 5G deployment to be delayed at key U.S. airports.

United said the current rules “will result in significant restrictions on 787s, 777s, 737s and regional aircraft in major cities like Houston, Newark, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago.”
