Investing.com – Japan stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

Tokyo closed with a 2.80% loss, marking a new three-month low.

The Tokyo Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 354 to 218 while 81 ended the same.

USD/JPY declined 0.2% to 114.36. EUR/JPY dropped 0.09% at 129.68.

US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.1% at 95.630
