U.S. Bancorp Earnings, Revenue Miss in Q4 -Breaking

Investing.com – U.S. Bancorp announced Wednesday that the fourth quarter was disappointingly short of analysts’ expectations and that revenue fell below forecasts.
U.S. Bancorp posted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.07 on revenues of $5.68B. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted EPS at $1.1 for revenue $5.74B.
U.S. Bancorp shares have increased 3% since the start of the year but are still below its 52-week high of $63.57 on January 13. They are outperforming the S&P 500 which is down 3.96% from the start of the year.

U.S. Bancorp reports on JPMorgan’s Friday earnings beat. JPMorgan reported EPS for $29.26B in revenue, while U.S. Bancorp forecasts an EPS of 3.01 on $29.78B revenue.
Bank of America exceeded expectations with Thursday’s fourth quarter EPS of $0.82 based on revenue of $25.06B. That compares with forecast for $0.7652 based on revenue of $22.18B.
