American Airlines posted earnings per share (EPS) of $-1.42 on revenues of $9.43B. Investing.com polled analyst to predict EPS at $-1.54 on revenues of $9.31B.
American Airlines shares fell 3% over the first year but are still below 33.65% of its 52-week peak of $26.09, which was set on March 18, 2020. They are outperforming the S&P 500 which is down 4.9% from the start of the year.

American Airlines reports on Cintas’ earnings beat on December 22, 2021. Cintas posted EPS figures of $2.76 per share on $1.92B in revenue, while forecasts projected EPS levels of $2.65 and $1.91B respectively.
Sandvik AB ADR exceeded expectations Thursday, posting fourth quarter EPS $0.3369 on $3.2B in revenue. That compares with the $0.3355 forecasted for $3.07B revenue.
