MADRID, Reuters – Spain’s Bankinter reported on Thursday that its fourth quarter net profit dropped 15% compared to last year due to one-off costs related to its contribution at the local fund which protects bank depositors.

Fourth-largest bank in terms of market capital reported a net profit (or 82.5 million euro) for the October toDecember period. This is more than what analysts expected from Reuters, which was 60 million euros.
