Cardano makes a metaverse debut with Pavia; Thousands invest in its Virtual Land

The metaverse is one of the most popular concepts within the crypto sector since the Meta revelation. Joins the increasing number of other projects seeking to take part in the multi-trillion-dollar metaverse market.

Cardano made its metaverse debut months after activating its smart contracts. Cardano’s entrance into the virtual world comes with the launch of Pavia on its blockchain.

Virtual Lands are Now owned by Thousands in the Pavia Universe

Pavia, a non-fungible token (NFT), and play-to-earn game decentralized project is called. Players will be able to explore Pavia’s digital world using P2E tokens, which they can earn or spend in-game.

Pavia calls itself the “first Cardano metaverse.” Pavia includes 100,000 virtual land parcels as part of its metaverse. 31,000 virtual land parcels and 29,000 land parcels were purchased in October.

Pavia’s asking price for a plot of land starts at $1,000, and can go up to $1.26million. Pavia claims that the remaining 40,000 plots will be sold by the end of the first quarter 2022.

Pavia’s launch is a big deal. Many are calling it the next Decentraland. However, Pavia uses the environmentally-friendly Cardano Blockchain instead.
