Travelers Earnings, Revenue Beat in Q4 -Breaking

On Thursday, Investing.com reported that the fourth quarter beat analyst forecasts with a record revenue.

According to Travelers, earnings per share were $5.2 on revenues of $7.99B. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted an EPS of 3.86 for revenue $7.72B.

The shares of Travelers are now up by 2% since the start of the year. However, they’re still down 4.90% from January 10, when it hit a 52-week high of $168.31. The Dow Jones is still down 3.6% since the beginning of the year, but they are performing better than Travelers shares.

The Travelers report is based on JPMorgan’s earnings beat on January 14th, reporting EPS at $3.33 per share on revenues of $29.26B. This compares to the forecasts of EPS at $3.01 for revenue of $29.78B.

Bank of America exceeded expectations with Thursday’s fourth quarter EPS of $0.82 based on revenue of $25.06B. That compares to $0.7652 based on revenue of $22.18B.
