LOS ANGELES (Reuters). LOS ANGELES (Reuters). Rudy Giuliani is the man leading Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign. He oversaw attempts by illegitimate candidates from seven of his former presidential states, CNN reported Thursday, citing three sources.
Numerous planning calls were made between Republican Party state operatives and campaign officials. Giuliani participated in at most one of the calls in an effort to defeat Joe Biden’s victory, according one source.
Trump and his officials now face multiple probes following their refusal to accept the election results. Each voter’s vote goes towards a state tally that requires the votes of at minimum 270 voters for victory.
CNN reports that the former president had his campaign set up to elect supporters, provided rooms for false electors to meet, and distributed draft certificates.
Bob Costello (a Giuliani lawyer) and Liz Harrington (a Trump spokesperson) did not respond immediately to inquiries for comment.
