WalmartAccording to a memo from the company on Thursday, Casey Carl, the company’s leader in e-commerce is leaving.
As the retailer attempts to capitalise on its pandemic-related online growth, grow its third-party marketplace, and compete better with the e-commerce giants, the top executive has resigned. Amazon.
It was reported for the first time by The Wall Street Journal.
According to the memo, Carl will be leaving at the end February. Tom Ward will take his place as a Walmart executive.
