BERLIN (Reuters – After rising to 3.1% in 2021 and a record 3.3% last year, the German government anticipates that inflation will reach 3.3% this year.

Core inflation (which excludes any increases in food- and energy prices) is expected to remain at 2.5% through 2022 according to the draft.

It is anticipated that the draft will be adopted by cabinet members on Wednesday.
