SYDNEY, (Reuters) – Qantas Airways Ltd plans to reduce domestic capacity by 10 percentage points, or 60%, during the March quarter, after Western Australia delayed its opening of its borders indefinitely, said the airline on Friday.

To better meet the demand for COVID-19 infected states, last week’s airline cut about a third off its domestic and international capacity.

Qantas said that it will give more information on the effect of changes in the half-year results later next month. Qantas closes its financial year in June.
