WASHINGTON (Reuters), – U.S. Treasury Secret Janet Yellen stated Friday that the Biden Administration was looking at ways to lower inflationary pressures. The Biden government rebranded their economic agenda as “modern Supply Side Economics” in order to improve labor supply, infrastructure and education.

Yellen stated in remarks at a World Economic Forum Virtual Session that the new strategy was superior to traditional supply side economics. She said this because it prioritizes tax cuts and aggressive regulation.

“Our approach is much more promising than old supply-side economics,” Yellen stated.
