Italy’s Berlusconi decides against running for president

ROME (Reuters) – Silvio Berlusconi, the former Prime Minister of Italy has decided not to run for President of the Republic. This was confirmed by a Forza Italia source on Saturday.
A meeting was held between centre-right Italian parties prior to the beginning of the parliamentary vote on January 24.
