Investing.com – France stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The index fell 3.9% to close in Paris and fell by 3.97%.

Orange SA (PA 🙂 and CSIRO rose 0.09 or 0.90% respectively to trade at 9.9. Meanwhile, Carrefour SA (PA.) lost 0.94%, or 0.17 point to 17.39. Eurofins Scientific SE was also down at PA: (1.63%) to 87.98.

Compagnie de Saint Gobain SA, which lost 8.46% (or 5.36 points) to close at 57.96 was the session’s worst performer. Stellantis NV declined 7.43%, or 1.35 point to close at 16.76 Worldline SA (PA:), was at 42.00, down by 7.28%.

BIC (PA) was the top performer on SBF 120, rising 2.61% to reach 50.40. Ipsen SA (PA) was at 83.56, up 1.26%; Orange SA (PA) gained 0.90% to close on 9.99.

These were the worst performers Orpea SA (PA.) fell 16.11% to 69.28 during late trade. Korian Medica SA was also down 14.04% and settled at 23.76 Valneva (PA:), which fell 9.13% to 14.230 by the end.

The Paris Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 559 to 56, and ended the day unchanged at 62.

Worldline SA’s shares fell by 7.28%, or 3.30 to 42.00. Orpea SA shares fell to 5.year lows, falling 16.11% (13.30 to 69.52). Korian Medica SA’s shares (PA:), fell to a 3-year low; 14.04%, 3.88 to 23.76.

The was unchanged at 0%, to 18.96, an all-time 52 week low.

For February delivery, Gold Futures rose 0.38% to $1838.75 an ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil fell by 2.22%, or 1.89, to $83.25 per barrel in March. The April Brent oil contract dropped 1.96%, or 1.71, to trade at $85.37 per barrel.

EUR/USD fell 0.1% to 1.1328 while EUR/GBP rose 0.65% at 0.8418

The US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.2% at 95.910.
