NEW YORK (Reuters), New York City Mayor Eric Adams said Monday that he would put in place an aggressive plan to stop gun violence within the city. Adams was a former cop who made this pledge during his election campaign.

Adams announced that Adams’ plan includes more police officers patrolling the city to stop gun trafficking and appointment of anti-gun violence coordinations in all city agencies.
