Pure Storage And Meta Partner on AI Research SuperCluster -Breaking

Investing.com — Pure Storage Inc (NYSE:) has partnered with Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:) on its new AI Research SuperCluster (RSC), which Meta thinks will be the fastest AI supercomputer in the world, the companies said Monday.

Meta, the parent company of Facebook, announced today that it is helping Meta’s scientists build an AI supercomputer. It can analyze text and images across multiple languages and learn from billions of examples.

RSC, Pure, and Meta will be working together to build the next major computing platform, metaverse.

Pure Storage’s CTO Rob Lee stated that Meta’s RSC represents a major breakthrough in supercomputing and will enable AI-enabled technologies for customers.

These two companies have been working together for many years. Pure helped design Meta’s AI infrastructure in 2017. 

Pure’s shares fell to $23.24 in session one, but are currently trading at $24.60. This is 0.5% less than the initial lows. Meta shares dropped more than 3.7% Monday.
