Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
Saudi Arabia closed with a decrease of 0.59%.
Saudi Industrial Export Co. (SE:) was the best performer of the session, rising 2.81%, or 2.80 points, to trade at 101.6 at the closing. Bupa Arabia was trading at Coop. Bupa Arabia for Coop added 2.74 points or 3.60 to reach 135.00. National Medical Care Company was also up 2.63%, or 1.80 to reach 70.20.
Nama Chemicals Co.(SE:) was among the worst-performing sessions. It lost 3.57%, or 1.50 points, to trade at 41.50 at close. Bawan (SE): ended at 36.70 with a decline of 3.42%. That’s a decrease of 1.30 points. National Com Bnk (SE:) fell 2.45%, or 1.80 points, to 71.60
The Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 135 percent to 70 percent, and ended the day unchanged at 19 percent.
March crude oil delivery fell 1.74%, or 1.48, to $83.66 per barrel. Brent oil fell 1.29 or 1.48% to $85.79 per barrel in commodity trading. Meanwhile, the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.377% to $1838.65 an ounce.
EUR/SAR decreased 0.37%, to 4.2376. USD/SAR fell 0.1%, to 3.7508.
US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.4% at 96.025.
