Temasek to buy Bridgepoint’s UK-based testing firm for $7 billion-sources -Breaking

SINGAPORE, (Reuters) – Temasek Holdings, Singapore, has purchased Element Materials Technology, a company that provides testing and inspection services, for $7 billion. Two sources close to the matter confirmed this.

Temasek bought a minority share in Element from Bridgepoint Group in London in 2019. An announcement is expected to be made Monday by one of the sources.

Sources declined to identify themselves as the details of this deal are not public.

Temasek refused to comment. Bridgepoint, Element Materials did not immediately respond to a Reuters query that was sent to them outside of UK business hours.
