The top performers on the S&P 500 were Gap Inc (NYSE:) which rose 7.94% to 17.12, Bath Body Works Inc (NYSE:) which was up 5.90% to settle at 56.18 and Generac Holdlings Inc (NYSE:) which gained 5.49% to close at 286.05.
