Molson Coors announced Tuesday that it will be launching the Simply Spiked Lemonade pack.

Simply, along with Fresca and Topo Chico is the third brand Coke recently added alcohol. Coke partnered with Molson Coors for the U.S. release of Topo Chico Hard Seltzer. It began its domestic rollout in 2021 and was launched nationwide this month. Molson Coors believes Topo Chico, along with White Claw or Truly, could be a top-three brand in hard seltzer.

Coke had not been in the alcohol industry since 1980, prior to Topo Chico Hard Seltzer being launched. Coke’s early successes are likely to be responsible for the company’s rapid growth in this category. Coke announced that it will be working with Constellation BrandsIt is a great product. upcoming Fresca canned cocktails.

This is the most recent version partnership between beverage companies to blur the lines between drink categories in the hunt for growth. Manufacturers of nonalcoholic beverages diversify as soda consumption declines. There are new markets for CBD-infused drinks and other regulated beverages on the horizon. As the U.S beer population shrinks, so do brewers. Coke is a rival PepsiCo is rolling out Hard Mtn Dew with Boston Beer in February.

Coke saw a 12% increase in volume for its nutrition, juice and dairy divisions during the third quarter. Coke doesn’t release the Simply brand results, which include juices, lemonade and smoothies as well as plant-based milks. Coke announced Tuesday that Simply, its second-largest product by revenue, trails only Simply, and its products can still be found in over half of American consumers’ refrigerators.

You can purchase Simply Spiked Lemonade in 12-can packs or 24-ounce individual cans. You can choose from strawberry lemonade or blueberry lemonade as part of the assortment pack.

Premarket trading saw shares of Coke fall less than 1 percent, and Molson Coors fell slightly over 1%.
