Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The Paris closing bell saw the index rise 0.74% while it gained 0.62%.

WFD Unibail Rodamco NV climbed 3.38%, or 2.08 points, to trade at 63.67 by the end. Meanwhile, BNP Paribas SA (PA:), added 3.26%, or 1.96 points, to reach 62.06 Renault Late trade saw SA (PA) rise 3.15%, or 1.02 points, to 33.40

These were the worst performers of the session. Teleperformance SE (PA:) dropped 1.66% or 5.50 point to trade at 325.70 at the closing. Pernod Ricard SA (PA.) dropped 1.22% (or 2.35 points) to finish at 190.65. Eurofins Scientific SE(PA.) was down 1.17 points or 1.03 to 86.95.

These were the top performers on SBF 120 Vallourec (PAA:) rose 8.6% at 8.215. TechnipFMC PLC(PA:), which was up 6.16% at 5.72, and CGGSA (PA:), which gained 4.39% at close at 0.756.

The February Gold Futures were up 0.45%, or 8.35, to $1850.05 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil rose by 2.22%, or 1.85, to $85.16 per barrel in March. The April Brent oil contract rose 1.76 or 1.50, to $86.93 per barrel.

EUR/USD fell 0.3% to 1.1287 while EUR/GBP dropped 0.3% to 0.8364.

US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.1% at 96.060.
