NextEra Energy posted earnings per share in the range of $0.41 for revenue of $5.05B. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted EPS at $0.3863 for $6.26B in revenue.
NextEra Energy shares have increased 5% since the start of the year but are still 12.60% below its 52-week high of $93.73, which was set December 31, 2021. They are outperforming the S&P 500 which is down 7.47% from the start of the year.
NextEra Energy shares were down 1.16% pre-market after the report.
