Raytheon Technologies (NYSE) and Investing.com reported Tuesday that the fourth quarter beat analyst forecasts, with revenue falling short of expectation.

Raytheon Technologies (NYSE:) announced earnings per share at $1.08 on $17.04 billion in revenue. Investing.com polled analyst to predict EPS of $1.02 based on $17.28B in revenue.

Raytheon Technologies shares rose 2% over the first of the year but are down 4.71% from their 52-week peak of $92.48, which was set on January 14. They are outperforming the S&P 500 which is down 7.47% from the start of the year.

Raytheon Technologies reported Thursday’s earnings beat by Union Pacific, which reported EPS for $5.73B on revenue. This compares to the forecasts for EPS of 2.61 on revenue $5.6B.

General Electric exceeded expectations with Tuesday’s fourth quarter EPS at $0.92 on revenues of $20.3B. That compares to the forecast of $0.8458 for revenue of $21.34B.
