Former CFTC chair Chris Giancarlo joins Digital Asset’s board -Breaking

Chris Giancarlo served as the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission chair until 2019. In 2019, he will join the board of directors at Blockchain startup Digital Asset.
Digital Asset will be announced Tuesday. Giancarlo will be offering advice on asset tokenization and distributed ledger technology. He also discusses the potential impact regulatory developments could have on crypto. The former CFTC chair is currently working as senior counsel at the Willkie Farr & Gallagher law firm and co-founded the Digital Dollar Project, a non-profit organization aimed at generating data to inform U.S. lawmakers on developing a central bank digital currency, or CBDC.
