UK inflation expectations hit record high

Inflation expectations over the long term were at 3.8% for five to ten years.
“Today’s data, particularly the level long-term expectancies, suggests an elevated risk that inflation expectations will be de-anchored to the upside if inflation increases in the future. Citi economists indicated that they believe expectations will remain grounded for now.
