Home DepotTed Decker, the chief operating officer of Ted Decker has been appointed as CEO.

Craig Menear will still be the chairman of the board as the current retailer CEO. According to a company news release, the leadership changes will take effect on March 1.

Menear believes Decker (a Home Depot veteran with 22 years of experience) is the best person to lead the company.

He stated in a release that his ability to combine the science and art in retail was exactly what The Home Depot needed for the next phase. He will lead us to great heights, which I believe is a tremendous assurance.
