Qualities that make successful entrepreneurs

One of the most prominent artificial intelligence events in the world, the co-founder of this event highlighted his belief that successful entrepreneurs are distinguished by their skills.

Charlie Muirhead who was instrumental in the creation of AI festival CogX said to CNBC’s Tania Bryer that being an entrepreneur means getting used “running through walls every single day”.

Muirhead stressed that despite these obstacles, it was crucial to “be able pick yourself back up, dust off and get right back into it.”

He stated that failures can be a “stepping stone” on the way to success.

Muirhead stated that these stumbling stones could be anything from bad meetings to people leaving the company. Sometimes it has something to do w/ you and sometimes, it doesn’t.

He said, “These small setbacks occur every day. You have to just build this rhino skin” and that it is impervious to them.

“If you do that — whether you want to call it grit or determination — I think you have a huge chance of success.”

The 2017 CogX festival was founded by Tabitha Goldstaub, a tech entrepreneur and Muirhead. Over the years, the festival attracted many big-name speakers. These include Robert Downey Jr. from Hollywood and others. Matthew McConaugheyTo iPod inventor Tony Fadell.

Muirhead, prior to CogX founded the software company Orchestream. This content studio t5m was later known as Rightster. Rightster is now known as Brave Bison.

Muirhead reportedly even worked as a roadieWhen he was still a teenager, he played for Prince and other musicians before going to university.
