Investing.com – Australia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

ARB Corporation Ltd. (ASX) was the best performer of the session, rising 7.90% to 46.15 by the closing. Meanwhile, Zip Co Ltd (ASX:) added 7.48% or 0.22 points to end at 3.16 and Nuix Ltd (ASX:) was up 6.88% or 0.10 points to 1.48 in late trade.
Ansell Ltd., ASX: was among the worst-performing stocks of the session. It fell 14.34% (or 4.48 points) to trade at 26,76 by the end. NIB Holdings (ASX.:) lost 6.03% (or 0.40 points) to close at 6.23. Resolute Mining Ltd. was also down 3.39% (or 0.010 point) to 0.285.
The Sydney Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 907, 561 and 355 respectively.
Ansell Ltd. (ASX:), shares fell to 52 week lows. They lost 14.34%, or 4.48 to 26,76.

While AUD/USD was at 0.699%, AUD/JPY rose to 81.24 by 0.86%.
