German manufacturing bottlenecks ease in January, Ifo says -Breaking

BERLIN (Reuters).- German manufacturers reported fewer bottlenecks in procuring raw materials and intermediate products in January, down from 81.9% in December.

Klaus Wohlrabe, an economist at Ifo said that despite this improvement companies have still much to be concerned about. It remains to be determined if this trend will reverse.

In Germany’s biggest economy, 0.7% contraction was caused by supply chain disruptions and new restrictions in autumn.
