Spain’s Inflation slows down in January, 12-month rate falls to 6% -Breaking

(Reuters) – The Spanish Consumer Prices rose a slower 6% over the previous year than the 6.5% reported in December. This was according to flash data released Monday by the National Statistics Institute.

December saw the highest 12-month rate of inflation since 1992.

INE data also revealed that Spain’s EU harmonised consumer price Index rose 6.1% in January. That is 6.1% more than was expected from analysts polled at Reuters, and down 6.6% from December.
