German retail sales slump in December -Breaking

BERLIN, (Reuters) – German retail sales declined more than expected in December due to tighter Coronavirus-related restrictions. Trade in textiles, leather goods, and clothing was affected by the stricter restrictions.

Retail sales in November were 5.5% lower than expected, according to the Federal Statistics Office.
