Omicron yet to peak in many countries, caution needed, WHO says -Breaking

(Reuters) – Many countries are still not at their highest in the cases of Omicron, the transmissible variant of coronavirus. Therefore, measures to reduce its spread need to be taken slowly, Maria Van Kerkhove (World Health Organization technical lead for COVID-19), said Tuesday.
